Prof. Sergei Petrenko, a distinguished Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor at Sirius University, Russia, is a leading expert in information security and system design. A graduate with honors in Mathematics and Engineering from Leningrad State University (1991), he has designed and developed several critical information infrastructures, including three national Situational-Crisis Centers (RCCs), multiple MSSP and MDR security service operators, and various trusted communication operators (MVNOs). His contributions also extend to building SOPCA and SPOCA systems for cyberattack detection and prevention, as well as establishing CERT and CSIRT centers for monitoring and responding to information security incidents, including industrial IoT/IIoT CERTs. As the Head of the State Scientific School, Prof. Petrenko has authored and co-authored 14 monographs and over 350 research papers published by renowned publishers such as Springer Nature Switzerland AG, River Publishers, and others. His works cover topics like Big Data technologies, information protection, cloud security, and information risk management. Recognized for his pioneering role in advancing national digital security projects, he has been honored with the “Big ZUBR” and “Golden ZUBR” awards. His research interests also extend into High Energy Physics and Renewable Energy, reflecting his multidisciplinary expertise in emerging scientific and technological domains.

Dr. Xiaojian Liu, a Doctor of Engineering, is currently affiliated with the Pearl River Hydraulic Research Institute under the Pearl River Water Resources Commission, Ministry of Water Resources, China. Recognized as an Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow in Innovation and Entrepreneurship by China’s national postdoctoral authorities, he is an active member of the Sediment Committee of the China Society for Hydropower Engineering and serves as a peer reviewer for reputed journals such as Marine Geology and Coastal Engineering. His research primarily focuses on estuarine and coastal protection and restoration, disaster prevention and mitigation in engineering, and flood and storm surge defense in coastal cities. He has led several national and provincial projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr. Liu has earned three ministerial-level honors, received multiple technological awards, secured 14 invention patents, registered 6 software copyrights, and developed two technologies listed in the Ministry of Water Resources’ Key Technology Promotion Guidance Directory. He has also authored one academic monograph and published over 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals. His experimental methods emphasize coastal engineering and ecological disaster-reducing strategies.
