Yousef Farzannahad completed his B.Sc. in Physics at Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, from 1987 to 1991. He continued his academic journey at the same institution, obtaining his M.Sc. in theoretical physics from 1993 to 1996, under the supervision of Prof. HamidReza Sepangi. He pursued his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from 1997 to 2001, working with Prof. Hadi Salehi. His doctoral thesis, titled “The Role of Conformal Symmetry in Classical and SemiClassical Gravity,” reflects his deep engagement with complex theoretical concepts, laying a strong foundation for his future research endeavors.

Yousef Farzannahad began his academic career in 2001 as an Assistant Professor at SRTTU, where he contributed to teaching and research in physics. He served as the Head of the Physics Department from 2004 to 2009, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills. In 2010, he was promoted to Associate Professor and later became a full Professor in 2017. His extensive experience spans over two decades, during which he has actively participated in various academic committees, including a term on the scientific council of SRTTU from 2014 to 2016.
