Research Focus
Prof. Do Sung Huh’s research primarily focuses on the fabrication and functionalization of advanced polymeric materials, particularly honeycomb-patterned porous films. His work leverages the Breath Figure method to achieve pore-selective functionalization, enabling applications in antibacterial coatings, smart materials, and glucose sensing. Additionally, Prof. Huh explores the synthesis and characterization of conducting polymers and their composites, such as polyaniline and polypyrrole, for use in supercapacitors, sensors, and other electronic devices. His studies also delve into the antibacterial properties of nanoparticle-embedded films and the development of functionalized nanocomposites for enhanced electrical and mechanical properties.
