Prof. Michael Sadovskii | Theory of Superconductivity | Best Researcher Award

Institute for Electro physics, RAS, Ural Branch | Russia

Michael V. Sadovskii is a distinguished theoretical physicist known for his extensive research in condensed matter theory. He has served as head and chief researcher at leading Russian institutes, including the Institute for Electrophysics and the Institute for Metal Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. His work has significantly advanced the understanding of disordered systems, pseudogap phenomena, and superconductivity, including high-temperature and disordered superconductors. Sadovskii developed the field theory and self-consistent theory of Anderson localization, proposed exactly solvable models of the pseudogap state, and contributed to extending the dynamical mean field theory for strongly correlated electron systems. He has also made notable theoretical contributions to the study of iron-based superconductors and electron–phonon mechanisms of superconductivity. Recognized for his scientific excellence, he has received several prestigious awards and held prominent roles in academic and editorial boards within the Russian Academy of Sciences.
