Felix Ofori Boakye’s research primarily focuses on the development and application of advanced nanomaterials for energy conversion and storage. His work spans electrocatalysis for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), oxygen evolution reaction (OER), and oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), as well as the development of catalysts for water splitting and Zn-air batteries. Dr. Boakye has extensively investigated heterostructured materials, such as metal selenides and phosphides, to enhance the efficiency of these reactions.
